I must recommend the ultimate gift. It is a book that forces you to review your own character and the life you live.

In today's world of constant media and day to day events I think it is more important then ever to take time in our days to read for pure enjoyment. If that reading then adds value or helps impact your life then that is great as well.

Another favorite of mine is stone soup. This book is a very short children's story but the point of the story has is one of community and change.

Again I would like to hear about the books you have read. Thanks for sharing. If you are not presently reading I challenge you to change that. Take a night off from AR and go to the library.

I just finished reading "Outrageous, Contagious, Joy" by Ed Young Jr.  He is the pastor at Fellowship Church in Grapevine, Texas.  Even in today's crazy times it's a real feel good book and it makes you think.

Edward, I am currently reading the bible, along with my husband and our small group at church.  We just finished studying the book of Hebrews.  This "book" is always fresh and no matter how many times you read it you always find something new.
