Dotsam
Have you contributed to the dotsam? Fritinancy (a site about "Names, brands, writing, and the quirks of the English language" defines Dotsam: " The wasteland of abandoned Web sites, Hotmail accounts, blogs, wikis, MySpace pages, etc., that their creators have ignored for months or years but which remain accessible."
I have never been able to remember the difference between flotsam and jetsam but when @DigitalMaverick tweeted:
#ect08 found out about 'dotsam' = 'The wasteland of abandoned Web sites, Hotmail accounts, blogs, etc that we all sign up to and forget' 12 minutes ago from web
I knew the word dotsam was about flotsam and jetsam. The photo is of marine debris on Hawaii. Flotsam and jetsam are marine debris of course.

My Ning.com community I set up... for Maureens. I could not get in the last time I tried. Social Networking - What's the point? The Maureen Corp...
There's dotsam floating around on ActiveRain. Does your Dotsam make you uneasy? Does other folk's dotsam look like litter to you?

Yeah, I sure contributed my fair share to this pile of dots! Maybe we should start to recycle here.
