Thanks....very helpful. The question probably should be "who ISN'T worried about their money.

I heard that many stores are out of safes and gun safes this month, because so many people are taking the money out of the bank!

Eric,

I am not sure you should believe anything... Some of the ratings especially for mutual funds are paid for by the mutual fund companies. How accurate can those be??

I was simply throwing it out to the AR world in case it might help someone sleep better. We have no control over the markets as I am sure you are aware.

WOW! I had no idea stores were doing good business on the panic but then again the media is great at creating panic and then somewhere in section ZZ on page 22 of the newspaper there is a story about it not being as bad as they said on page one!

I've never had to worry about my money in the banks because I never kept more than $100,000 in any one bank (now $250,000 under the bailout) so that everything I had there was insured by the FDIC. Stocks, bonds, munis, etc., were a different story, but I'm still nowhere near retirement, so I don't have to sell. Thus I'm in for the long term.
