TubeMogul, a great service I have used since it's inception, has acquired Illumenix, a video metrix firm. TubeMogul allows you to syndicate your videos to over 20 video sharing sites, such as YouTube, MetaCafe, etc. It then track views, comments and ratings across those sites.
The acquisition of Illumenex will allow the tracking of even more data, such as viewer engagement including how much of a video is actually watched, what the most popular segments of the video are, when viewers click away and more. For those of us who also host our own videos on our own servers, they will also be able to offer statistics about those videos side by side with viewership on sites like YouTube.
On a related note, there those who just want to know DO VIDEO TOURS SELL HOUSES?
I casually checked some of my Massachusetts real estate listings with video tours, and was pleasantly surprised at the number of fairly quick sales (6 days anyone?) over the past 4-5 months or so. Not too shabby in a pretty slow market!
I still believe 100% that the correct price from day #1 is the key to selling a home, but a good presentation online is the next step in getting that offer!
tube mogul is a great tool, i use it all the time. very simple to use
