Hilarious! Although, come to think of it, number one is absolutely correct. I actually had that conversation with a friend a few days ago. She was waiting to buy investment properties until the bottom was hit. She asked me when that would be, lacking a crystal ball I told her I didn't know but a good indication would be when prices went up :-)

You can not forsee the future but real estate is the best investment.  It will eventually go up.
