We are in a new age of parenting! Some of us have made the choice and embraced the need/opportunity to raise our grandchildren! This group is a great place to share stories, thoughts, experiences from that particular role.

Most of us understand that parenting is challenging. We get to the "finish line" (or almost), looking forward to new independence & freedom, only to find that we are starting over!

I love raising my 3-year old granddaughter! She has been in my home since she was born (I actually helped deliver her!). I have many fun stories to share (and some regarding daily challenges of not only being a "MeeMa but a full-time real estate professional as well).

I welcome anyone to come join or just read! This should be quite interesting!

Bonnie, my hat is off to you!  I was a teen bride and sure could have used help.  Now that my teens are growing up, I look forward to welcoming grandchildren at any moment.  I am told by my children that it is still too far in the future, however :)

My children know I am in a position to take care of their children, someday.  Children are such a blessing and no matter what family challenges they face, they can always use another role model to help guide and mold them into the person that they grow up into!

My grand daughters are my pride and joy.  I only see them about 2 times a month, but when I do I cherish my time with them.

Bonnie, Parenting has come along way from the days of Dr. Spock (not from star trek). I believe in Networking and moms clubs will only strengthen the home...
