You just got the call from your Realtor or from the showing agency.  Potential Buyers will be at your house in 30 mins.  What do you do?  Don't panic, do a quick sweep of your house with the following suggesitons:

• Spray some air freshner or light candles to remove odors, doing a special check around garbage cans.  Turn the air conditioner or the ceiling fans on to get the air moving.
• Grab a laundry basket and start clearing up the clutter in the main rooms, living, kitchen and master bedroom.  Stow the laundry basket away in a back closet until later.  (don't forget where you put it)
• Dust the large areas in all the main rooms and vacuum the main walkways.
• Wipe down the bathroom surfaces and mirror with a damp towel and throw the towel in the laundry.
• Load the dirty dishes in the dishwasher (but don't start it), wipe all the surfaces down in here too.

OK, relax, take a walk around the block and hopefully there will be a contract waiting for you when you get back :)!
