Perseverance and fruits of it......

This is a picture I took of the fountain in Clinton Square in downtown Syracuse NY back in 1980.

If you look really closely, you can pick out the figure of a man....

You can also see a full length shield in front of the man with only his face from the nose upwards showing...

He has long hair.....

This was a day I was walking with my new Messiah..

and I wanted a momento of his presence in my life as a new Christian...

Much like the Elders of old had signs from Him that He loved them and

was there to help them through tough times..

Jacob, Abraham, Issac, Joseph, Adam, Gideon, David, and others fall into this catagory.

 There are steps in the bricks leading up to this fountain

and the water cascades down them into a pool below.

Sometimes I have to look at this picture that God so graciously sent to me

to remind myself He IS with me, no matter how I feel.

I do not have a great bible teaching for you here....

Just a movie that will inspire you to keep on keeping on.....

If you are doing what is right and things are just not working out...stay with it.

If it is time to re-evaluate what is working and what is not...

then do it and make the changes you need to make to stay profitable.

If you got into this business because you thought you could make

a LOT of money very quickly, I guess NOW you know differently.

The market ebbs and flows and you have to know how to change with the times.

Sometimes the buyer is favored...and sometimes the seller.....

you have to know what to do as the market changes.

The movie is about a boy that is in a race on a day

where the fathers are in attendance and watch their sons compete for a prize.

Things happen while the race is going on....

Watch what the boy does as he races for the prize..

Watch what the father does as he watches his son race.

It is a picture of what God our creator does when He watches us in life.

It made me smile, think, and then I started to get drops in my eyes..

I am so glad I have a God who treats us

the way this father treats his son.
