Barack Obama, The most radical pro-abortion candidate in history...
Whether Pro-Life or Pro-Choice, Obama's position on live birth abortions must bother you. Barack Obama would make for the most radical pro-abortion presidential candidate in history. Not only does Barack Obama oppose protecting infants who survive a failed or botched abortion, he has pledged to sign the Freedom of Choice Act as his first item of business if elected president of the United State. Obama opposes the ban on partial-birth abortion and during the Saddleback forum debate had said the issue of when life begins was too difficult for him to answer – “above my pay grade.”**
Abortion-survivor Gianna Jessen in this Citizenlink video appeals to presidential hopeful Barack Obama to support protection for babies who are born in the course of an abortion. If you would like to support this effort, please donate here.
**During the "Saddleback Debate Forum" on August. 16, Senators. Barack Obama and John McCain fielded questions from the Saddleback Church pastor and leader Rick Warren. Senator John McCain gave very solid, precise, and encouraging answers to questions about the sanctity of life and the institution of marriage, whereas Senator Barack Obama came down at the other end of the argument.
You will recall the following interchange during the forum:
Pastor Rick Warren: "At what point does a baby get human rights, in your view?"
Senator Obama: "... Answering that question with specificity, you know, is, uh, is, above my pay grade."*
With all due respect, Senator Obama, if this question is above your pay grade, then so is the job attached to it.
