We change the clocks this weekend, and that means we’ll all be hunkering down for the dark days of winter here at the Jersey Shore.

Why not find some new indoor activities to pass the time?

The Little Egg Harbor Branch of the Ocean County Library is offering an Introductory Chess Class tomorrow, November 1st. Children 7 and older, as well as adults and caregivers are invited. The class runs from 11am til 1pm. (That'll give you time to attend the Fur Fest!)

Whether you’re a beginner, intermediate or experienced chess player come on over.

If you’re already player, you can assist some of the newbies!
