New Active Rain Group on Feng Shui

By
Real Estate Agent with Keller Williams Realty 0575737

BedroomWithin Active Rain there are so many groups with which to read from the "experts" on various topics. A new Group I was made aware of by Carole Provenzale, Long Island and NY Feng Shui consultant is the

ActiveRain Group: Feng Shui for RealEstate.

Feng Shui is the study of energy, light, space, and organization when it comes to interior and exterior design. As you learn more about this it is very fascinating. A cluttered or dark environment can grow in energy with a few changes.

Click on the Group link above if this is an area you would like to learn more about. It would help with home staging tips and also how to sell a home faster. With Carole as Moderator of this new Group it is bound to have some very lively blog posts from the professionals in this area.

William: It's all about the energy side of things.

Sharon: It's a topic I enjoy learning about too.

Carole: Hopefully spotlighting the group will add more readers and posters.

Hey Susan: Thanks Catwoman. You're a fave of mine.

Alisha: Go with these experts, you won't go wrong.

Hi Pat: Bless you too Pat.

Chris: It's a great group.

Hello Gail: Hadn't heard that story along the lines of the drain, or if that would even bother me, but many know the Feng Shui implications of this much better than me.

Gary- I don't know if the bedroom, pictured above, meets Feng Shui standards, but I don't think I could sleep, with a chandelier hanging above my bed.  :-/

Marilyn, this photo actually came from a Feng Shui discussion so I am sure it is "approved." I think the light is offset a bit from being right over the bed, but I see your point.

Gary - When I first moved into this house 25 years ago, I had the foot of my bed facing the door.  Almost from the beginning, I had issues with fatigue when I would get up in the morning.  This went on for a few years, and then I read a little something about Feng Shui, and learned having the foot of the bed facing a door can drain energy.  Just for kicks I moved my bed away from it's old position.  And almost immediately began feeling better in the morning.  The question remains: (1) Was it a placebo effect (2) Power of Suggestion (3) or Real?  Bottom line - if I feel better, and the answer is any of # 1 - 3, it's still a healing just the same :-)

Marie: This one is a good one on a focused helpful topic.

Myrl: It's amazing how moving the foot of the bed had such an effect.

Sharon: You are right, but now Carole is relaunching it as Moderator. We wanted to get the word out. You know EVERYTHING about Active Rain Sharon  : )

Hi Gary: I don't know a lot about feng shui -- heck, half the time I can't figure out how to spell it -- but when I spot certain things like a door that opens to a t-intersection in the street, I point out that stuff to buyers. I preface it by saying that those who believe in feng shui would say this is bad feng shui -- and I leave it up to the buyers to decide what they think.

hey Gary, I, too, joined this group and was excited to find it. Carole is so gifted in this area, and I know we will learn even more about the architecture of aesthetics that can only be defined by energetic placement... sometimes I look at her illustrations for a long time, and still can't figure out how she does it. It's like magic! And you can really feel the difference! Cheers!

I hope to be able to help out with some feng shui answers.  I certainly don't want to step on any toes here, I do flying star feng shui and it looks like the group started with Black Hat.  It's a totally different system.   They do share some basic tenets though.  And, there are lots of ways to use feng shui to sell houses.
