I Love Being An Artist... I Have Such A Thing For Eye Candy!

I love being a Work-At-Home-Mom (WHAM). I love being an artist. I have such a thing for eye candy and am always looking for something beautiful to enjoy. I don't know about you, but I am definitely a Spring-Fall baby. There is something about those vibrant colors that just gets my brain rolling in high gear and makes me want to whip out my oil paints and create a new work of art...

I am on a very interesting team that is judging an art contest between Realtors. I've enjoyed some fascinating e-mails from across the country. Truth be told, it's actually an International Competition because the Canadians have come out to play and we have a wonderful judge named Poppy Dinsey from London, UK. It's a Club Chaos Photography and Video competition regarding the Fall Season. Since I am on a panel of 7 moderators, I can not participate as a contestant, however, I can provide sneak previews of what I would be doing if I were actually in the game. Besides, I think it would be mad fun to tease some of the participants who also happen to be my friends.

Here is a tasty little bit of Fall eye candy from my turtle run in Flushing Meadows Park. I wonder what my peers have in store for me today... Looking forward to it.

Thank you, Sandy. By all means do not leave home without your camera! You must be ready to capture eye candy at all times! You never know what you're going to want to capture once you start exploring the neighborhood. There is so much beauty to see... so much to photograph but sometimes so little time. I do hope you will join the contest as well. :-)

Pat Tasker get your blogger's butt over to Club Chaos and start supplying more eye candy! I better see an entry in that contest. Don't make me come over there! (LOL) BTW, I love your photography! Feel free to post more views. I am so into this!

The skies were beautiful that day C and the fall colors were amazing! Thanks for sharing your day at the park with us.

Since we are still in the upper 80's, and live oaks are green year round.. I haven't seen anything of fall yet!

But will keep an eye out, and in the meantime I can enjoy the photos others post.

Sherry, sweetie, GREEN is still a Fall color (LMAO). You can photograph all the wonderful shades of green and share them with us. Go join the contest. Consider doing a video as well as a photography presentation.

I only have one word to say about your candy....sweet! Too bad we don't get fall colors at the beach...palm trees stay green year round.

Ok, I get it, this is the constest! Everything looks the same in so cal in Fall as it does in Summer so I have nothing good to share here.

This is a great idea for a contest. I have really enjoyed being a part of Flickr and learning to put my camera to better use. Fall in Michigan is just gorgeous...

Jeremy, you get those gorgeous beach sunrise and sunset views. I would go collect some of that eye candy in a heart beat if I were down there with you. You really should submit some photographs. :-)

Cristal, of course you do. S CA is gorgeous. Show us exactly what you have right now! GREEN is a fall color. Use it! (LOL)
