Short sales in the news.

Just this evening, WUSA News here in Washington DC ran a story about the pitfalls of buying a home that being sold as a "short sale". As you will see, a short sale is not often short but takes quite a long time!

If I get a call from a buyer wanting to see a particular house and it says 'subject to short sale' I look with trepidation at the tax records to see what bank is involved. None of this is short, as you say, but some banks already have a reputation with me as being more like War and Peace lol. Happy Halloween!

Short Sales and me....aaah, now there's a love/hate relationship, if ever I saw one...
