Signature Place St Petersburg FloridaSignature Place in downtown St Petersburg Florida has topped off and is on schedule for occupancy in 2009. This morning, on my way to Northern Trust Bank, it was interesting to look up and visually scale the new Signature Place.

The model center has moved from the Bank of America Tower over to the west building of Signature Place, and some commercial closings have taken place in the west building, including Z Grille.

This condominium building is unique in design, and every condo has a water view. It took an interesting design to accomplish that.

It's reported that about 2/3 of the condominium units are under contract.

Hi Sharon, That is very impressive, especially the sales aspect. Looks like maybe we might be at the bottom on the way out of this moral morass. Well done and congratulation on yet another architectural pleasing building.

What a building ... especially in the St. Pete I remember from many moons ago!!  Nice to hear of so many 'sales.'  I'm not detecting any positive change here in my neck of the woods but I suspect we will bottom out soon and stay there for a while. Winter is usually very quiet here.

William - thanks! Ovation, a really luxurious condo a block or so away from Signature Place, also scheduled to be completed in 2009, reportedly has sold about 2/3 as well.

Susie - if winter is slow there, come back and see today's St Pete!

Russell - more condos are folding than going forward. You have to have something unique to make it.
