This is the time of year in Wisconsin when the leaves crunch under foot...Mother Nature's pallet paints the trees golden, red, burgundy.....beautiful shades you can see everywhere....and there is something that as the fall winds turn to winter chill that you really need to warm you from the inside out....and for those of us lucky enough to live near STEWPS , located on highway 100 just south of Edgerton Avenue in Hales Corners...a lovely community anyone would be proud to call home. Stewps is a little place...with a wide variety of soups and stews...some fresh, some frozen...always a variety....always an experience that starts with a whiff of the "flavor of the day"....your mouth begins to water and then you have to make the agonizing decision of which soup or stew will answer the call of your appetite that particular day. And if you can't decide on just one....as is frequently our problem....you can take home one of the frozen selection of past day's flavors.
