Is Anyone Else Excited for November 5th, 2008?

I was just wondering if anyone else is as excited about November 5th as I am this year. You may be wondering why am I excited for the first Wednesday in November. Is it my Birthday? No, that was a few weeks ago. Is it my anniversary? Nope that was last week. So what is so wonderful about November 5th?

No More Political Commercials!!!

I am so tired of every time I turn on the TV seeing political commercial after commercial. The other night there were 4 in a row during a show we were watching. Now Granted, it is important for people to be informed about the political views of those running, but isn't it a little much? Thank goodness it is almost over.

Remember though, before it ends, Go & Vote on November 4th, 2008!

Jeremy - I am looking forward to it as well! I am going to go and vote, but it has been a long campaign.

No more political commercials is awesome ... of course the wrong candidate chosen is not ... :-/

I'm so sick of all of it, and disgusted. I will be very relieved when it is all over.

Depending upon the results, November 5th may just be my favorite day this year. Actually, regardless of who wins, I just can't wait for this election to be over!

Republican or democrat, if what you say, "it is important for people to be informed about the political views of those running", is true, they better not rely on TV ads to be informed...! Thanks, Fran

Jeremy: I'm ready for it to be over! But as soon as January 20th comes and goes, we'll get to see who else is going to throw their hate in the ring for the 2012 go round. Before you know it, we may have two campaigns running at once. The Presidential race for 2012 is winding down and the 2016 is just getting going...I can see it now. Someone get me a bucket.

My birthday is on the 6th and when every so many elections the election night falls on your birthday it just plain sucks. You cant even find something to watch on TV! UGHH.

It will be very nice, once it is over! I personally don't care who prevails- the country will be the same great country no matter what.

I will plug my TV back in sometime that week. Not only the ads but all the analysis of why I voted the way I did. I am so sick of it and how the political newscaster really believe I care what they think.

Oh I am so excited for the political ads to end. It will be an early birthday present! You are right it is important for people to be well-informed about their political candidates but most of the ads are not as informative as attacking. Consumers need to do their own research if they are going to make a well-informed decision. So yes, bring on Wednesday!

I am looking forward to November 5th. The election has been long and stressful for this country.
