Huge Auction of REO homes in Phoenix

On November 15th and 16th there will be auction of over 500 foreclosed homes in Phoenix, potential buyers have the opportunity to view these homes today and Saturday and Sunday next weekend.

Is it really an auction if the seller authorizes the auctioneer to bid against buyers?

the auctions that i have been part of are based on the Auto Auctions, they get the bidders excited and their job is to sell homes.

I have been seeing some great deals going through the auctions.

Is it really an auction if the seller authorizes the auctioneer to bid against buyers?

Read the terms and conditions before you bid and be sure to inspect the property.

Auction law allows the auctioneer to bid up to the sellers reserve and its usually disclosed in the terms. While most auctioneers retain the right to bid up to the reserve, we would rather sell the property and earn a commission.

The high bid is what the property is worth and if its below the reserve you can rest assured the auction company will beat their seller customer over the head with your contract to get them to accept the price.

This company has over a 90% sell through rate from what I hear so getting 9 out of 10 done is a great job for both the buyers and the sellers.
