Turning Around the Foreclosure Crisis

By
Real Estate Agent with RE/MAX Realty Group

Have you wondered what you could do to help people caught in the current foreclosure/financial crisis?  Marilyn Mock took a straightforward approach when, moved by the property owner's emotional response to the disposal of her home at auction, Mock purchased the house.  Then she said she'd let Tracy Orr, the evicted party, move back into the home.  According to AOL News (http://news.aol.com/article/foreclosure-angel-saves-womans-home/226863?icid=100214839x1211576358x1200769302), Orr told CNN, "I'm still in shock."  Mock said, "People need to help each other and that's all there is to it."

The Associated Press delivers a great explanation of the foreclosure issue and why it will not be solved easily or overnight (http://www.walletpop.com/mortgages/article/_a/bbdp/why-foreclosure-crisis-is-hard-to-break/226934).  But the more people who give what they can where they can, the sooner the situation will be turned around.  And that will benefit all of us.
