Ok so daylight savings time ends tonight. I mean tomorow at 2:00 a.m. Now for me it is just past 11:00 p.m. here in my neck of the woods. But it is tomorow for many of you. 13 hours ago tomorow started in Bangkok, Thailand so do they use daylight savings time in Thailand? If so what time was it here when the time changed there? And did the time change here at the same time? And at the end of this hour it will be 2:00 a.m. on the east coast and midnight here. So our time difference is two hours or one hour because at 2:00 a.m. it is really 1:00 a.m. there but still midnight here. So it must mean that for an hour tonight the east coast and the central time zone will be on the same time. Ok I think we get the point it is very easy to over-think some rather simple processes. But what time did I really post this blog?
Randy,
Sitting here in Colorado at 11:33 and thinking "oh yeah." I almost forgot! We get an extra hour tonight. Honestly though, I always hate to go back to regular time, it seems like it gets dark so early in the evening. Easier to get up thought when it gets light earlier. Guess it is a trade off.
Good reminder - thank you - almost forgot myself! I give up trying to figure and keep track of the different times - as it is - Active Rain time is 2 hours ahead of me! I'm already on tomorrow on Active Rain!
It's time for me to go to bed, that's what time it is! lol Nice pic btw. Very appropriate. :o)
Randy: Actually, throughout the world... the earliest time... is later than whatever time you are in. What does this mean. It simply means that you no longer exist. You have been automatically sent either Back to the Future, or Back to the Past. You could even be in the Twilight Zone. The only way you can return is through some secret time warp... and right now... the link to that has been lost... LOL. Until that happens, you can probably be found on the USA Network... among the reruns of Monk, House and Law & Order SVU. You have my sympathies... LOL. Have a great evening.

Same time zone as me, but does it get dark earlier in Colorado or in Utah?
Valerie
No matter how many times we hear something like this it is really easy to forget.

Well said.

Great Response! I'm still chuckling over it. I'm out there, somewhere.
Randy: I ended up taking my comment above, and turned it into a full post. Come take a look. By the way... if I can figure out a way of getting you back to the present, I will surely do so. Take care... :)

I woke up Sunday morning and went to early meetings and low and behold I was there! Not in some dark abyss but I was there. There were others who did not participate in this strange phenomenon of time change or time continuam. They lost an hour of possible sleep and came to the meetings long before the appointed hour. Perhaps they were the ones lost to this strange and unnerving abyss called "daylight savings time." Then I got back in my transport to drive again and the instrument displaying the appropriate hour was still lost in the abyss. How exactly did I change this last time some 8 months ago when the darkness ensued. (or was it lightness?) Thanks for having fun with my post! The original Randy, lost in space or beyond!
