REO nightmares

These are photos of a 2 bedroom home we recently took over management of. This 900 square foot home took 4 dumpsters to empty. Supposedly, there were only 2 people living in this home, a mother and her teenage daughter.

It is extremely depressing to go into some of these homes where it looks like the people left with only the clothes on there backs.

Unfortunately it takes money to move. Add this to the fact that the place they were going was at best a guest room in a relative's home...at worst the streets. There are 2 sides to every story. This is the dark side of the foreclosure "deals".

So true, and so sad. Unfortunately it's something we see far too often.

That is too sad. It is unfortunate that many simply 'live' in a place and let it go with no regard.

I don't appreciate you taking pictures of my house without my permission!!!!!!!!!!

I have a lot worse stories on REO's......some with sections of the house missing. Scary business, but you have to look at that business in 10's, as 1 out of 10 will be a disaster and a loss. i.e. If you are dealing in REO's you are either in it or not. Don't piddle with it or you will pull your hair out.

Thanks for sharing the pictures, it is important for us all to remember to put a human face to this tragedy.

Wow, that is just hard to believe. Hopefully you were able to donate some of the items. Must be a tough job to go and clean up some of those homes
