Welcome to my new little piece of real estate on ActiveRain.
So why am I here? What made me think I should jump into the giant pool of active members at ActiveRain? Well, quite simply, 'cause I have a lot to say. I spent years in the music industry (14 years as a touring guitar player for a mutli-platinum selling rock band) and I wrote extensively for my band (keeping one of the first tour journals on a band's site) as well as on occasion for some smaller magazines. I'm not a great writer, as my head often gets ahead of my hands, but the fact is, I enjoy it. I like to share what I know, learn what I don't, and mull over everything in between.
I find that reading other agent's blogs has given me a lot of chances to learn and grow through their varying experiences. So I feel I owe it to the RE-community to do the same. I also feel I owe it to San Antonio to give them all sorts of info and make our town a better place to do real estate business (from a consumer view and an agent view). I have even been given the chance to write for www.agentgenius.com, which I am very proud of. It allowed me to meet and network with a lot of great agents, some who have taken me under their wing to help guide me on my career...it never hurts to have someone you can call when you have a question.
Speaking of questions, I don't pretend to have all the answers. I try to, but I am a realist and know I will never know everything about real estate. That's what I enjoy about this business. Its constantly evolving and changing and it allows me to learn something new on every transaction. No two transactions are ever the same and each client is completely different, but its those differences and new challenges, that keep this exciting for me.
As my blog becomes bigger and content is added, I encourage you all to join in and comment, question, and participate. I am a big fan of the community atmosphere of the internet and hope to foster that within my writing, both here and on my regular blog (still under construction) - www.RErockstar.com.
I hope you'll stick around for awhile and see what happens in my little slice of ActiveRain.
