Driving into my office this morning I thought that maybe I was dreaming.

It couldn't possibly be true. But there it was. In great BIG signage.

The price of gas in Modoc County has dropped to $2.84 a gallon for regular. YIPPEE !

I can finally fill up my Trailblazer for less than $40 !

Pretty Sweet!

Wow! Less than $3.00. I am also amazed. Let alone less than $2.00 in Texas! We're paying about $2.95 in San Francisco right now - even I'm excited! Let's hope these prices keep dropping faster than the rate of property values (in some areas, of course)!

it was weird to see gas at $2.29 in the city of Modesto last week.

Wow Katy TX is only about an hour from Kingwood TX and I paying $2.15/gal. The good news is the prices are coming down.

Kenzie & Ron : No one will burst my bubble (well maybe it fractured a little). It took forever to get under $4.00 (by the way, the stations were over $4.00 in no time) -- and it's been a slow crawl to get under $3.00.

Nicholas: Wow, you're paying more than we are. I'm surprised.

And in Modesto: I lived in Manteca before moving here. Looks like things are finally going to get a little easier in San Joaquin Valley.
