I have been fortunate in the last month and a half to have sold three of my listings! They are all in the price range of under the $500,000 mark and have been appealing to the clients getting into the market and also moving up in a home. Also, I have been finding with all the News out there my winning combination has been to keep my head down and not listen to the hype out there and to be positive! My clients have told me they are so happy and refreshed to have someone come into their home that's not Doom and Gloom! My latest sale the SOLD sticker went up in a week and a half and WOW, were they happy clients!

Being creative with what you offer and your advertising is also key. With using tools such as Home Staging, Videoing the Listing, Blogging and Txterrific, my cleints are feeling they are getting value for the Service and there are no concerns over what I charge at the end of the day. Also, these are fairly low cost techniques, just takes some time... So stay positive, price is key and your service must be Creative!

Sheri, congratulations on not just being busy, but being busy with some great results.
We absolutely have to be more creative in this market, and no, it's not all doom and gloom.
It's actually a great time to buy, and as long as sellers (and their Realtors) list the homes according to THIS market, they will all sell.

I've been busy too (and with some success); and I am definitely finding ways to do things differently (working smarter, not harder; and investing the marketing dollars in the right places).

Continued success. :)

It's so nice to read something so positive Sheri and I'm sure your clients just love you.  Question - do you find that many people click on your video links in your blog?  Are you able to substantiate the numbers?  I've found in general that people view stills more often than video and am therefore curious about your own experience with that.  Thanks.

Thanks for the comment Marg! The videos for me have boosted my listing inventory, and I feel have resulted in the sales as well, very quickly! What I tell my clients, is that the still photos are great, but it's hard for potential Buyers to get an idea of the layout of the home without the videos. It's just another tool we use to market the home. When you are sending it through YOU TUBE, you are able to see the stats of how many views the video has had. We had one listing where it had 273 views in a month! That's a lot of people who had virtually walked through that home. It was then sold within a month period of making the video!  Our video quality keeps getting better and better as well, and so do we on film! Thanks again, you should try it!
