As 26 year Lake Ridge residents my husband and I have always enjoyed the seasonal changes - especially Fall. We don't have to drive to see leaves in Lake Ridge - we rake 'em. Weekends of leaf raking are great opportunities for neighbors to chat and enjoy the natural beauty of our subdivision. It is not unusual for us to break out cider and cookies to share with neighbors on our deck overlooking the woods.
The development of Lake Ridge was approved in 1972. The "Lake" is due to the fact we sit along the shores of the 2,100 acre Occoquan Reservoir giving Lake Ridge the longest shoreline in Prince William County. The "Ridge" is easy to understand as you drive through Lake Ridge - hills and dales with 1,200 acres of common ground almost all of which are fully treed . Ridge Development went to great lengths to retain trees behind homes which explains the privacy not enjoyed in many newer communities.
Now is a great time to buy a home in Prince William County. Prices are dropping all the way from Belmont Bay in the east to Bull Run Mountain in the west.
We have more than leaves to offer our residents. Lake Ridge has "in subdivision" schools, shopping and transportation facilitating travel to all military and civilian work centers to our north. We are also a short drive to MCB Quantico. If you plan to purchase a home in Prince William County please use our
