Certified Staging Professional Class
The Alliance for Environmental Sustainability will offer the Certified Staging Professional Class to real estate professionals who are interested in becoming knowledgeable and certified in green building.
Certified Professional (CP) designation is a certification that is earned by a select few Real Estate professionals. The certification recognizes that as a CP Broker, Agent or in Canada, the Sales Person, understands green terminology, green building certification programs such as LEEDÂ®, have an understanding of green building sciences and are knowledgeable about the state of the ecosystem. This class will allow real estate professional to direct homeowners, depending on where you live, toward upward of tens of thousand of dollars in special green tax credits, incentive and rebates.
This class is designed by building science leaders. This class would be a first step toward buying and selling green Real Estate.
As a CP you receive the following:
* A green credentialed, Real Estate designation, only for licensed Real Estate Brokers, Agents, Sales People * A comprehensive green Real Estate training program * Pending continuing education credit
* You must live in either Canada or the United States * You must be licensed by a national certifying agency, and have liability insurance if they provide services * You must comply with the CP license and criteria terms, which are available from a Live Green, Live Smart Trainer * You must complete approximately 28 hours of classroom and independent study course work

CURRICULUM Coursework includes classroom education from a certified and trained instructor and an independent study program including: Environmental and Ecosystem Overview The science behind the many issues the ecosystem is facing LEED and other certifying organization programs Case study Extensive and detailed overview, a real case with real issues and solutions Green Building Sciences Ranging from Advanced Framing Techniques to Site Planning Tax Credits, Rebates, Incentives The information you give your clients will save them the cost of this program many times over Green Building and Remodeling Strategies What can you do on a $2,000 budget and up to a $90,000 budget Trends in the industry

There is an Independent Study Test Requirement
This certification is based on a focused, easy to learn program, designed by green building leaders. You have lots of other issues to deal with each day. You already know how to market yourself, now you need to know about the environmental issues and what is green in remodeling or new construction and how to help in a selling or buying process for a client that says â€œgreenâ€. This program will help you interpret the terms, ask the critical question and help meet their expectations.
