Can't really get my brain around this one. A friend of mine was visiting form AZ, and took a couple days off to visit relatives in Mid Tennessee. He brought me back this photo.
This is his wife's Uncle or someone in the family eating pinto beans on chocolate cake. I guess he ate like three plates of this stuff. It was one of his favorite foods.
I have never heard of anyone putting these two foods together. 
Ewww! I thought at first it was cornbread until I read your post completely. Was he in a hurry and wanted his main course and dessert at the same time??
From what my friend told me, he really likes this combination and eats it whenever he can. Like I said, he had 3 or more servings when he took the photo.
Well, I was having a pretty good time reading and commenting on your blog entries, but I am now officially sick and will have to leave. LOL

I wasn't there when the photo was taken by my friend. Had I been there............NO WAY!!!!!!!!!!
Beans? You bet.
Chocolate cake? I'm all over it, maybe twice.
Together? Not on your life.
That is pretty unique to say the least. I personally like peperoni & peanut butter. Sounds like something that would not go well together but it is actually a great snack

Just plain old wierd. Why would anyone in their right mind skunk up the taste of chocolate cake with pinto beans?
