Please bring back Politics & the Election!

Now that the election is over are we back to talking about Short sales, foreclosures, REOS, etc?

 Boring, boring, boring!

Agents and members at Active Rain are going to have to find something new to talk about, like widgets, URLs, and other web stuff we can attach to our Profile & Blog page to slow it down when other members try to open them.

What is going to be the new niche for blogging?

How the economy is going to pick up like nothing every happened, please give me a break.

I am curious about how everyone else feels on this subject and would like some ideas.

Are members going to blog about beautiful photographs like this one down below that really don't have anything to do with Real Estate?

Is everyone going to be hurt now and hold grudges because the election didn't turn out the way they wanted.

What this country really needs is to get ride of the gasoline powered cars and machines, which in turn would take away the power and control the Middle East has and end this senseless war in the Middle East.

The United States needs to focus on our country and bring back factories, and companies to create jobs here. Not over seas where Corperate America has planted all there factories.

I say make a vote to destroy Corporate America and bring back the old Ma & Pa businesses, is there anyone out there that agrees with me.

Lets help our new President clean up this country and bring back the value of the American dollar.

Actually I am glad that the election is over.  I am curious to see what changes will occur and how quickly.  I think people still need beautiful pictures in their lives.  there is more to life than real estate.....but.......it does either pay the bills or not pay the bills.  I think we will see an increase in business soon, especially once the Holidays are over.  Let's enjoy our family and friends, get our books in order and get ready to kick butt for 2009!!!!!!

I fully agree. End the corporate stranglehold on America. End corporatism.

I am glad the election is over as well. It wore me out physically, mentally and spritually. I have seen the darkside of mankind come out and it was not fun.

I just hope we see serious changes and soon.

Roxanne - Thank you for coming around and it's always a pleasure.

Nicholas - I couldn't agree with you more.

Shane - Thank you so much for your comment and I tried to stay out of the politics arena at AR for these reasons, some people get so weird and unpatriotic about it.

Well said Robert! It is a relief that the election is over. But what an election it was!! It was frightening to see all the negativity and venomous hatred during the campaigning. I hope the country does rally and stand united so we can get things straightened out.

Beautiful picture... very tranquil and relaxing to look at!

It is odd, after a year (or two) of endless political headlines about the upcoming election, to suddenly have no more news about Palin's interviews or McCain's rally audiences and no more political commercials.

Robert, Your Beautiful Pictures always brightens my day.  YES, I am glad the election is over, and I pray things will get better and it can if we all work together.  Yes to bringing Ma and Pa Business.

Hi, Robert:

Nice photo, and I already miss the run-up to the election, too, although not the anxiety. I am catching up on a lot of chores now!

Cheers,

Robin

Politics are never gone!  I'm involved at a local level and there is always something going on.  I agree that only reading about real estate related stuff is boring.  I admit, the first groups I check are primarily on topics outside of real estate.
