Has your business FLATLINED? Mine has. About a month ago I wrote a blog about how I saw a surge in the Real Estate. Then flatlined!!! After a week of zero emails, zero phone calls, zero showings on listings it finally hit me. Everyone must be waiting to see what happens with the election. Now that Barack Obama has won will the market get any better? Or will we have to wait for after he not only takes office, but takes action. I know that I am getting worried. I am in a very rural area and things are really slow around here. I am hoping for the best, I am hoping for an increase in activity now that the election is over, and I am hoping that the future of our country truly is in safe and capable hands. We need to get out of this mess.

Things have been slow here in New Hampshire this year...I have spoken with several other local agents and they have said the phones have been dead for the past few weeks also.  Leaves us all asking the same question...when?

Good Luck!

I see the stock market reacting negatively to his victory today.  I hope that does not continue.

If you are expecting an immediate reaction- don't hold your breath.  The market here in Florida is improving.  Due primarily to lower prices and a glut of bank owed properties.  It is going to be a bumbpy road to recovery, but it will eventually recover.   Typically we see a spike here in December, when people come for the a thaw out from other parts of the country.  Overall business has been MUCH better this year than the past two years...at least for me.
