6 Comments on Living in the Mountains north of Atlanta
Hi Joan,
I don't know. What more could I hope for? You have my attention. I am ready to hear more. When will we get the next post?
Joan: I just love that area of Georgia & hope there is still some color left when I come through in a couple of weeks. Wish I had time to stop in to say hello but I will be on my way to & from Kentucky for Thanksgiving. Enjoy your beautiful weather and roll in some leaves for me!
Maxine....the leaf color has been spectacular this week, unfortunately it is very windy and many of the leaves are falling fast! Where are you going in KY? We lived in Lexington in the late 70's, loved Keenland and the surrounding horse farms.
Joan, my daughter will be thrilled to see any color other than green;) We'll be in Artemus, a little town about an hour and a half north of Knoxville. The closest town that you might know is Corbin - home of the original Kentucky Fried Chicken. As a certified horse nut Lexington is one of my favorite places - it's absolutely beautiful.
Hi Joan, I love the mountains. My parents have a place in Franklin North Carolina. I love going up there in the summers - it's breathtaking!
Maxine and Sandy.........you are both such fun........makes me feel like I have pen pals like I did as a kid.
