Well,
Things are changing and here's what you can expect in the coming year as far as Spokane Real Estate Investing.
The main change is going to be investing strategies. Many people climbed on board with the "we will buy your homes cash" deal which tries to find home owners who are about to lose their homes and then investors step in and negotiate a deal from the bank to take over (this is called a short sale). The problem with this is that one of the main things the bailout will do is that the government will start to buy most of the questionable loans from the banks in bulk.
This means the bank will not want to deal any longer with the single investor on a single home. What this means is that Spokane Real Estate Investors will need to go back to stratgies from three years ago. This means flipping homes, and picking up rentals. The days of short sales may not come to an end but they will be dramitically decreased.
The end result in about a year or two is more HUD or government foreclosures. These are offered first to owner occupied buyers so investors will basically lose opportunities they currently had to snatch up these deals.
Investing in Real Estate takes a balanced approach. Start with a great Realtor who will help you locate the right deals and also help you move homes fast and for top dollar. A great real estate agent is worth their weight in gold.
