Phished Again!

This time it was a PayPal incident.

Almost had me too. NOT!

Mike, I got this one too a couple of months ago. They almost had me as well.

The one that almost got me was the notice that they had made payment to a jewelery store for hundreds of dollars. It made me want to just jump in and tell them no way did I place the order, then I remembered I had cancelled my paypal account over a year ago.

Paypal asks that you send the phishing notes to them at spoof@paypal.com. You get a nice canned response message back saying it was a fraudulent message.

Mike, there a couple other scams going on. They involve WAMU and Bank Of America. Their is a fake email going around asking you to update your "online id and password".

Brad - same email address for Ebay (same company) spoof@ebay.com I might consider canceling my paypal but it's just so convenient! The jewlery store is a good one - That'll make most men jump!

Eddy - It's Phishing, I'm working on a phishing scheme right now. It'll look like AR and ask for your username and password. When you fill the boxes in, I'll then be able to steal all your AR points! What ever you do don't tell Scott!
