I just attended the Tri-State Stagers Expo, and I left with lots of good ideas. How great to see that RESA is growing and becoming the true trade organization for real estate stagers. One simple idea which i will now use on every staging job is to be sure to share all my photoswith the realtor. Some realtors hire a professional photographer, and the good realtors will actually get the photos taken and posted online as the house hits the market. But many realtors don't. (shame on those agents who don't post good photos!) I will now share all my photos with the realtor for any house I stage. Why not make it a little easier for the realtor (isn't that our job after all?) and share the photos so the online listing will shine. I learned at the Expo that listings with 20+ good online photos will sell in less than HALF the time of a listing with just 1-5 photos. Buyers want to be wowed with the photos, and then they will want to visit the house in person. So i send thanks for Melissa Marro, Kim Hough, Kristine Rae and others for your wonderful ideas. I've already started implementing some of them, including sharing all my photos with my clients and blogging more!
