Gutter cleaning is more then just about looks, it can also add years to the life of your roof by allowing the water to properly flow off your roof, and through the gutter system instead of clogging up where it can get under your shingles, rotting your roof requiring replacing your roof much sooner than normal.

Before

After

We also clear the roof of all debris with our gutter cleaning services, as this also helps your roof last longer while allowing water to properly flow off of the roof into your gutter system.

Side by side before and after pics. A difference you can really see. We clean up all debris in the gutters as well as on the roof and haul it away.

I am glad that all of my gutters have screening on them to keep the leaves out.

Hey Chris, I guess you've been busy working. Keeping the gutters clean is important to home maintainance and should be done before you list your home for sale so it looks well cared for.

John- Up here in MI, many homes especially those with basements or crawl spaces need the gutters as they help prevent floods under the home which cause mold, mildew and can ruin a home and be a huge expense especially to those of us who have finished basements. But like everything that is good it has its work involved lol

Rich- Not to be mean or anything but alot of those gutter covers especially the mesh/ screen styled ones don't work as good as many think..... and I've cleaned them out more than you'd think lol The biggest downside to them is that if you do get leaves or other debris in there you have to remove them and put them back up after cleaning the gutters out. The most effective gutter covers are the harder plastic ones that have a small slit under an over hang in the gutter which allows water to flow in while keeping the most debris out. Unfortunately bees love making nests under the them which can also back up a gutter system if they build it big enough (and unfortunately I have ran into those as well... not fun much fun getting stung 25' in the air). So yeah pretty much like everything good they have their downsides as well. For the most part they do make it so gutter cleaning is not required as often though which is good.... I can't knock them completely and totally I do install them as well if thats what the homeowners want, I just like to let people know they are not a one time stop all miracle invention to never have to clean your gutters again like many are lead to belive.

Kenneth- Thank you for stopping by and picking up the reminder ;-)

Shane- Many people forget about this important part of fall yard work, often until it is to late. While I do not mind putting on new roofs on the side if I get time I'd much rather take a little time to clean the gutters out and save the homeowners a few thousand dollars lol

Debbie- No, gardens definitly don't look good in the gutters lol Neither do the nasty rotting leafs we have this time of year.

Lara- Yeah I have been kind of busy, and I became Uncle Chris on the 1st so yeah I've been busy lol

Keeping the gutters clean and free flowing is very important when selling a home because of that fact, but it is also very important for homeowners who are not looking to sell because it helps keep the roof in good condition, as a backed up gutter system can ruin your roof fairly quickly. When the gutters get backed up it allows that extra water to get under the shingles rotting the wood underneath which quite often results in having to replace the entire roof, and wood often costing several thousands of dollars long before needed if proper care was taken. I have actually seen roofs get completely ruined resulting in a new roof being needed in less then 5 years from not properly cleaning the gutters and allowing them to back up to this point. :-(
