Off season deals in Tahoe City

After easter Tahoe gets pretty quiet until mid June or the heat gets too oppressive in the valley. But its a great time to come up here during the lull when the weather is nice and you can ski/bike/golf/waterski all in the same day.  Many resorts offer deals to entice customers off during the shoulder season.

Here's some ideas:

1. Check out http://www.snowbomb.com for the summer card which is half off until May 1. Good for a free round of golf and other freebies, there's coupons there too, good for all kinds of things.

3. Both Squaw and Alpine are offering Spring passes which pay for themselves in days and are good towards next years pass. www.skialpine.com. www.squaw.com

5. many restaurants will start offering their happy hours now and 2 for 1's, howeveer 2 for 1s will usually be sunday-thursday.
