My two followers may know that I just got my first featured post after some 372 posts over the course of the past year or so. You cannot say I am easily discouraged. Even though I have never posted to get featured, but to provide good, transparent content, I cannot deny that seeing that star was really exciting for me, and I am very grateful to have a number '1' in my 'Featured Posts' slot on my home page rather than that familiar, rotund zero.

Party pictures from the great Active Rain bash at Hard Rock last night were part of my plan for this morning's post, but when Active Rich said to me... post those pictures and I'll take your featured post star away... I decided I had worked too hard to lose that little gold star within 24-hours of the award, so I have acquiesced to Active Rich's subtle 'suggestion.'  Surely others will have photos to post that you will enjoy.

By the way, is this your shirt Rich?
