The Wellesley High School football team writhed in agony as the final minutes ticked down on the clock in their game against Braintree High on November 8, 2008.
This has been a season of lost opportunity for the Raiders but the Braintree game was close…so very close.
Casey Tanner was notable, it was a home game, and Braintree failed to score in the final quarter.
The Raiders made up 6 of their 10 point spread against Braintree in the 4th, but the needed win was just not to be…
