Who is reading and replying on YOUR BLOG posts?

I guess for the amoung of blogs I've posted tonight, I've had quite a bit on my mind.  I've been busy working day in and day out...however, I took 3 day's off, for the most part to spend time with my youngest daughter who was here with me for the last 3 days...What a joy and what a great time we had together.  She graduated this summer with her master's degree in accounting and IS and will sit for her CPA exam this spring.  That being said/bragged about...we had quite a few conversations about the Economy, the stock market (she actually made money Friday...in one of the worst markets ever...go figure)!

All the above being said, Who is reading an replying on YOUR BLOG posts? I have just realized at looking at who is posting in my area that some of the most astute Real Estate agents have posted their comments on my blog.  Not all agree, however, we do have some fantastic interactions here on AR.  We all have respect for how we feel and we all learn from other's comments.

I never realized who some of these people were, how experienced they were, and the credentials that they have until I took the time tonight to check some of these wonderful people out.

One person in particular is helping me with a deal right now.  Steve H., and I are working on a deal.  While I never really new Steve that well, we've talked several times and he now knows my passion and my attention to detail.

Several other's here are also very supportive...many of us have quite a few points, and we love AR and the contacts who are here that share our same passion.

Hopefully, the new member's will also take time to share their knowledge here on AR.  You don't need lot's of points here to make an astute statement or to give advice.  Each and everyone who is a member here has a voice to be heard...do not be intimidated by those of us who have been here a while and who have accrued points.  Your voice is just as important as is ours, and is welcomed.  I'm sure many of you new member's out there have a multitude of experience and advice, so, don't be afraid to make a post here...You never know, you might be the NEXT SOLUTION TO OUR CURRENT QUESTION!

So, who is reading and replying on your blog posts?

Can't remember ever being too intimidated to comment.  Not to mention, that commenting adds to my points too.  I guess it's fun that I think I have "friends" here in the rain reading and commenting, but I'm really more interested in potential clients getting information they might need or reading something on localism that would attract them to Lake Sinclair.  And sometimes from my stats, I know more people are reading certain "information" posts and not commenting.

Tammy,

The point I was making was that the newbies here are welcomed to comment.

Sherry,

New thought's by new members are at times refreshing...the thought processes of new agents can sometimes stimulate quite a different perspective.  Thanks for posting.

I have quite a variety reading my blog.  But here is the funny thing. My clients who come through the blog never comment.  Comments are mostly from fellow agents and real estate professionals.  I had been hoping to get those who are not involved in real estate to comment on my blog from the local community. But no such luck.  I have decided to write more on building and planning in the future.  Our area is a hot bed of controversy on this issue - so I am hoping that this might stimulate discussion on the local level.

Karen, great question AR has the technology to find out who is and who is not reading.

I think it would be beneficial to us all if that was tracked and disclosed. For example when someone viewed my Profile I would love to know that 60% was from let's say Realtors and 20% was from potential buyers or sellers and 20 % forgot who I was and came back and looked at my profile:)))Same for my blog posts it should be tracked as well. After all AR has now LEad Router So the Technology is there:))
