I have an associate friend that had a client from NY that she convinced to buy an apartment on the ocean in Hollywood Beach for a very good price. Because he was coming down for the weekend he decided to close 3 days early for cash so he could come and purchase flooring and furniture for his new apartment. To his surprise he sold Lehman Stock to purchase and VOILA, he now has an incredible oceanfront apartment that he will enjoy from now until eternity. Had he not sold the stock to purchase this condo that day he would have had nothing but useless paper, Lehman went under that weekend. You do the math! Real Estate will always be something you can reach out and touch!!!!
