REAL ESTATE ECONOMY

"October was the height of the economic crisis, and the shock factor for consumers has not yet been fully reflected in home sales," NAR Chief Economist Lawrence Yun said on Friday at NAR's convention in Orlando. But Yun notes that some of the hardest-hit areas of the country, including Florida, show "consistent, solid gains" in pending home sales.

BUYERS & SELLERS

NAR released its latest consumer survey of home buyers and sellers. A key finding: First-time buyers have risen in market share, and they plan to own their homes longer than buyers in the past.

Hi Elayna, yes i feel very optimistic about 2009 one reason is because if you think otherwise then you've already lost.  The other reason is because i wrote up 5 sales contracts in November and are expected to close throughout December. 2 of the buyers are Canadian, 2 local & one out of towner. So yes all in all feeling good about 2009 through 2011.

Btw, you have 2 beautiful daughters with great smiles, it's easy to see that you're their mom.

Thanks and you have a great day as well...

Let me ask you a question, i have a tagline in mind let me get you thoughts...

"Casual Attire, Professional Results"  does that make me sound too laid back?  It fits me completely because i don't feel comfortable in a suit and in order for me to be me i wear some dockers & a polo or nice shorts & a polo.

At least with most of my clients i find that they want to feel comfortable to and sometimes the client feels like they have to dress up for a listing appt. or to look at some homes because they see their Realtor is in a suit.

Any insight from you would be great, thanks...

Marketing Naples FL  Hi Tony!

Your tagline needs some work. I know what you are trying to communicate but it says more about you than about them. Your tagline should be all about what they are getting and what makes you different.  We just have to say it in a way in which both messages are properly and clearly conveyed.   In my opinion, "Professional Results" must go.  I think the "results" card has been overused and, trust me, you don't want to join that pack.

E-mail me at elayna@designed2impress.com so we can discuss this in depth.

Ciao

Elayna
