The Village People?

It takes a village...

We've all heard it said, ala Hillary Clinton: "it takes a village to raise a child".  Well I'm not sure I completely agree with that, however, I'm beginning to realize it does take one to sell a house!  Enlisting the help of a village may seem overwhelming to some home sellers and even some Realtors.  Giving up control over certain aspects of the sale of one of your largest investments can be a lot to handle.  However, just try selling a house without one of the following:

  1. Realtor
  2. Home inspector
  3. Home stager
  4. Painter
  5. Carpenter
  6. Electrician
  7. Flooring installer/cleaner
  8. Carpenter
  9. Mortgage broker
  10. Title agent

Did I leave anyone out?  Let me know.  Let's hear it for the Village!

In my own house when I sold it?  All of those that you listed plus: mold remediator, termite exterminator, radon remediator....all sorts of fun people! LOL! Seriiously, it is overwhelming and a good Home Stager will make it less stressful for the homeowner!

My photographer is one of the most important members of the village people. After you break your back to get your listing looking like a million bucks you have to do it justice with not just good but great photos!
