"Life is what happens to you while you're busy making other plans".  John Lennon quotes (English Singer, Songwriter and Political Activist.)

My day is planned and organized in writing, yet it transitions into something different as my life is penciled in to other people's plans.

    The term blog from Wikipedia:

blog (short for web log) is a user-generated website where entries are made in journal style...

This is what I base my blog on, day to day happenings or reminiscent thoughts of days gone by.

I have yet to share unrelated stories like literally running into Barbara Bush the night before my Principle and Practices Final. Oh, then there was the time I sold a house that was wired by extension cords. These are just a samples of  the rich pageantry of life that is mine.

     I don't live in a bubble, I don't blog in one either.

I have read blogs asking questions like "Who Are You"; not directed at anyone in particular. I suppose if I were that interested I would extend a note to genuinely introduce myself and get to know individuals.

Not that anyone is asking, but being empathetic and intuitive is a big part of "who I am".  I disagree with individuals that do not think personal interests or commisserating on a blog  is not important.  Isn't that how people make "a connection"?  I care on a personal level and it carries over in to how I do business on a professional level.

One blog in particular outside of AR I enjoy reading, is a well-known blogger who admitted he broke up with his girlfriend.  The responses from readers was amazing!  There is something to be said for reaching out on a personal level.

Being transparent is not a new business concept to me. I ran out of fingers and toes counting how many times customers have said to me, "my last agent NEVER told me that".   I'll come straight out and admit to giving TMI, too much information to consumers in writing.  This has never been a detriment to my business relationships.  Also, I am confident that I won't be writing a check for my E&O (errors and ommissions) deductible.

Well, that is all the time I have for this narcissistic blah-blah-blah blog.  My 11:30 appointment is here 20 minutes early.

Absolutely true, the world of blogging, it is truly amazing what people will say about themselves and how "transparent" they can be.  Keep business, business; personal, personal.  Clients may view your personal life against you when it comes to working with someone they can trust.

I always enjoy reading your posts. I find them thoughtful and entertaining. Honesty works well for me too, amazing that it's not a universal concept. Keep doing what you do and being who you are. Anything else is just a waste of time and energy : )

Open Home Mortgage:  Thank you for commenting.

Personal information should be kept to finding common interests on a professional blog...I would be more afraid of weirdos than having someone use my words against me.

Thank you for commening, Kelli. I feel like I just got  a surprise bouquet of flowers! Thank you!
