At 7 pm Friday Nov. 14, Mixx Salon & Spa will present the "Hollywood Hair Award" to a woman suffering from hair loss or thinning due to medical treatment or health condition. Cheryl and Russ Collins, owners of the Mixx Salon & Spa, understand that losing hair can cause a loss of self-esteem, depression or other emotional imbalances and created this event to make a difference for women in the Metro Detroit area.
