Recipes for Household Cleaners:

 

Cabinet Grease Remover (for painted cabinets)

1/4 cup baking soda

1 cup ammonia

1/2 cup white vinegar

1 gallon warm water

 

Press a hot, damp cloth against grease deposits until they soften. Wash cabinets with a sponge and the above solution. Rinse off with a clean sponge and water. Wipe cabinets completely dry.

It's amazing how dirty and greasy kitchen cabinets can get...now what about ideas on how to clean the filters for the kitchen stove vents??? lol

It is amazing, and it is one area that we do not clean as often.

I will look up recipes for kitchen stove vent filters, and post if I find one.

Great idea though, as those get filthy as well.

I remember my mom always having some concoction for cleaners, so we really never bought much from the store.

And they worked well.  We should know, as she made the cleaners, but we had to use them. lol
