Jeremiah 1:19 
At times when I watch the news and see all of the corporate and global financial problems , I wonder how we will ever overcome the mess we are in. It can make getting out of bed in the morning difficult. Thoughts like "whats the point?" can take over and next thing you know I'm not wanting to go to work at all. I feel like the whole world is fighting against me, and it is. Knowing the Truth helps. God promises us that He Will deliver us. I don't have to worry about how or when. The word deliver in the bible means to to snatch away, deliver, rescue, save, strip, plunder.
Do you feel like you need to be snatched away from the doubts the enemy is placing in your heart and mind? Do you need rescuing from a world that seems to be unraveling? I do, and so do the people I work with. It really doesn't matter what the news says. The Word of God says we win. Period. He is faithful and just and will make a way for us. The world is crying out for A God who can save them. We can be that light to them.
Father, I thank you for Your relentless pursuit of my fragile heart. You will move heaven and earth to show me how much You love me and Your love for me never fails. Help me today to look beyond what my natural eyes see. Forgive me for focusing on fear and on what man can do to me. Help me to allow your Word to penetrate my heart and bring me hope. Thank you for being my deliverer, my strength, my ever present help in time of need. I choose today to put you first, to boldly pursue Your plans, and to be a beacon of light to the world I live in.
