Ah, yes, we're all taught to look under the sink before running water. Sometimes Realtors don't know to do that, though. I had one turn the water on at the street curb, contrary to my advice, and never bothered to go inside. By the time we got around to going inside, the upstairs and downstairs was flooded. It was a beautiful waterfall down those stairs, though. Too bad I wasn't with Active Rain at that time -- I could have used that waterfall picture for Wordless Wednesday -- LOL.
By the way, thanks for the suggestion about corks. I shall have to start saving mine and keeping them in the car for those times when I run into such situations.
Wouldn't want to smell that cork.
Yuck. Wonder who'll take the corkscrew to that!
