The Missouri Small Business Development Center is making another opportunity for businesses to learn how to analyze what is going on at their place and use that information to the benefit of the business.   

With a goal of training business owners and their support teams of managers, accountants, bankers and consultants about how to turn financial statements into useful tools for management, the MSBDC is offing the Financial Management Series of seminars.

The intent is to help businesses and support to be able to analzye financial information for better business decisions. There are three classes with various seminar topics in each one.

Understanding Financial Statements

Topics include:

  • Income Statements
  • Percentage size statements
  • Balance sheets,
  • Ratio Anaylsis

How to Control Cash Flow

Topics include:

  • Sources and uses of cash
  • Indentifying problems with cash flow U
  • nderstand difference between profit and cash

Predicting Future Cash Needs

Topics include:

  • Preparing the cash budget
  • Making informed decisions
  • Dealing with cash budgeting problems
  • Break-even analysis
