Bernheim Forest in the Fall

Berheim Forest - Bullitt County - 2008

What a difference a few weeks makes! Two weeks ago, we took the kids to Bernheim Forest and let them play on the playground. At the time, it was still 75-80 degrees and the leaves had just started to turn. Now, it is too cold for the kids to go play, but a trip to Bernheim is seldom disappointing.

Berheim Forest - Bullitt County - 2008

To get to Bernheim Forest, take I65 south from Louisville to Exit 112. Turn left at the top of the ramp. Bernheim is about 1 mile ahead on the right.

In Seattle, fall is often rainy and windy and just not fun to be in. But on our dry days.. it is nice to enjoy the beauty of the changing leaves and the crisp air. Nature is so beautiful when you take the time to really appreciate it. God has painted a pretty nice picture for us, don't you think!?

Gawd that's nice. We have PINE trees in Houston - very ugly.
