This is my 100th posting. I try, with varying degrees of success, to write interesting blogs with a unique perspective - not just another brick in the wall... Most of my blogs from the past couple of months have been political in nature, but there have also been a few with some of my original music.

Anyway, in the tradition of Simon Conway and Nicholas Goglucci, I am including music videos to accompany this milestone post. Enjoy!

Video from the movie - The Wall...

Video from a concert - 1980...

Best regards,
Jay

Hey Jay, way to go!  I was just listening to Pink Floyd tonight, a la vinyl!  I still have a record player and I still play records, non of that sissy CD stuff in this house.  Congrats!

Well done Jay! And I love Flloyd - interviewed David Gilmore a few years ago as well as having a guided tour of his car collection! Anyway, it is certainly true that your blogs have been here, there and everywhere! - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kLow753QvL0

Pamela, thank you very much!

Elayna, if I can get one voice-over job for every dozen posts then it'll pay off.

James, 200 doesn't seem as far fetched to me now as 100 did when I started.

Ellie, I agree, it's a great place to vent.

Steven, I'm glad that I could incorporate Pink Floyd's Another Brick in the Wall.

Bill, politics and business are both great topics for blogs.

Hugh, I love Pink Floyd.

Mike, I know how you feel!

Gene, at least you like part of the posts, Pops!

Inna, you'll pass 100 quickly.

Terry, I too enjoy the sound from the vinyl recordings.

Simon, I would love to see/read that interview!

John, thank you - I look forward to posting more.

I couldn't help but wonder if that's how class was like for Simon.  LOL!!

Ah, darn it, you didn't play my favorite song. It's Learning to Fly. Don't know why, I've just always liked it.

Congrats on your 100th.

Congrats on your 100th post and I don't think you will be having any problems. The Wall was one of my favorite movies and soundtracks many years ago. I still listen to the music in my car. You have some very original posts Jay and you really get heavy comments, I have been watching!

Happy Hundred.  After the first hundred posts, they get easier...  And Pink Floyd was great live.

Tchaka, that's pretty good! I hope it wasn't like that for Simon, but I do hope he responds to the comment.

Cheri', Learning to Fly was a great song. The song name could have served as the title for this blog - as in... it'll probably take me at least 100 more blogs to learn to properly articulate my thoughts on AR!

Robert, I strive for originality and I really appreciate your recognition and support.

Lane, since about half of my posts were about the 2008 election, surely it will be easy to cover some new ground!
