I'm still down here in Florida! The classes are over and we've been enjoying a few days of family time before heading home.
These two weeks have been a great opportunity to meet with our friends and co-agents form other states, hear about the latest technology available to help our clients, take additional classes on issues that affect the housing transaction (laws, lending, statistics, etc...). We've also heard from international speakers to encourage and inspire!
I was able to take tow classes that Disney offers on service and creativity. They were amazing! Now I get to see how Disney puts these to use practically by visiting the parks with my family. It's a wonderful opportunity to view Disney from an entrepreneurial viewpoint.
Here are some bullets I've had time to focus on this week:
- Work hard; play hard - we need both in our lives. Play hard for me usually means sleeping and reading all day which does not happen often, but the ideas still stands. We need to focus on diligence when we work and then when it's time to relax or play we can do so without worry or fear.
- Take time to focus on the family. This can be a full vacation or a day at the park.
- Take time to learn new things. We should always be learning. And then we should also be sharing information with others!
- Continue to give and be willing to receive. There are so many way to give back a bit of what you have received. It can be your time, talents, or financially.
Have a wonderful week! And we'll be home soon! Here are a few photos from our trip. So far, I have not been able to find any photos from the convention that turned out. I thought the camera on my phone would have worked a little better than it did. Oh well..
Blessings, everyone!
