The Appraisal Education Network School and the Merrell Institute are PROUD and HONORED to offer both 15 Hour and 7 Hour National USPAP Courses. These courses are made available under an agreement with the Appraisal Foundation. Graduates receive a Certificate directly from the school and a letter of Certification form the Appraisal Foundation within 60-90 days of course completion.

15 HOUR USPAP COURSE: Those entering the field of Real Estate Appraisal are required to successfully complete the 15 Hour National USPAP course, and pass the National USPAP Examination (76% or greater required)
7 HOUR USPAP UPDATE: Those who currently hold a Real Estate Appraisal License in New York State, including Licensed Appraiser Assistant, Licensed Appraiser, Certified Residential Appraiser and Certified General Appraiser MUST attend the 7 Hour National USPAP Update course BEFORE they renew their NY State Appraiser License. There is no exceptions in NY State to this rule.

NEXT 7 HOUR COURSE IS LISTED ABOVE AND IN THE APPRAISER CONTINUING EDUCATION SECTION FOR APPRAISERS IN NEW YORK STATE. If you fail to attend the 7 Hour National USPAP Course in New York State every 2 years BEFORE you renew, you are subject to a fine of up to $ 2,000 or more and/ or surrender of your license.
